A Time of Gratitude and Reflection
While we don’t “celebrate” Thanksgiving because we stand in solidarity with our Native American friends, we are nevertheless grateful to you for your willingness to still open our emails, even though since the beginning of the pandemic they’ve been sporadic at best.
And we’re so thankful for all of our clients who trust us to publicize and market their book in as many unusual ways as possible in these crazy times.
Of course, we are beholden to the countless organizations who continue to hold fort while we stay home and who bring virtual events to us, including Vroman’s Bookstore, Chevalier’s Books, Powell’s Books.
And we’re most of all thankful for authors whose books helped us get through a year that’s been anything but usual.
If you are home alone or with family, like us, and aren’t celebrating but reflecting, we urge you to take time to read any of these great pieces today by Claire Bugos, or Charleston Draper, or Brett Anderson.
As we prepare for the holiday season and anticipate the end of the year, we hope that there are better things in store for book lovers in 2021.
Wishing you safety and peace.
