We also sent out his first newsletter via MailChimp at the beginning of April, where he gave a brief recount of what he’s been up to and events he’ll be attending in the near future.
On April 27, he celebrated Indie Bookstore Day at Cellar Door Bookstore in Riverside. Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national celebration taking place at indie bookstores across the country. Other authors such as Veera Hiranandani, Liz Harmer, Isabel Quintero, and more, were also present.
Quickly followed by another event on April 28, this time at Skylight Books Los Angeles, Professor Jama-Everett and other candidates from the University of California Riverside Master of Fine Arts writing program read from their work.
