Coriolis Crew takes on Seattle at AWP
Four members of our Coriolis crew, Nanda, Angel, Kaitlyn, and David, recently had the pleasure of attending the AWP Conference in Seattle, and it was an experience we’ll never forget! The Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) is the largest literary conference in North America, bringing together writers, publishers, editors, professors, and literary enthusiasts from around the world.

The first day of the conference was filled with excitement as we set up our booth in the exhibition hall.
Our team was eager to debut our Coriolis Book Publicity and Marketing App, which we had been developing for months.
The app is designed to help writers and publishers promote their books more effectively, and we were thrilled to showcase it to the AWP community.
Throughout the conference, we met writers, professors, and editors from a wide range of backgrounds and specialties. We were impressed by the depth and breadth of knowledge and expertise on display, and we felt honored to be part of such a vibrant and dynamic community.
We were also thrilled to have some of our clients stop by our booth.

One of the highlights of the conference was attending the various panels and presentations. We heard from established writers discussing their craft and journey, learned about new and innovative approaches to marketing and promotion, and participated in lively discussions about the state of the publishing industry. It was fascinating to see how different perspectives and approaches could coexist and complement each other within the literary world.
We also took advantage of the opportunity to attend off-site events around Seattle, exploring the city’s rich literary scene. We visited local bookstores, attended poetry readings, and even went on a literary pub crawl. These experiences gave us a deeper appreciation for the literary community and the important role it plays in shaping our culture and society.
Overall, the AWP Conference was a great success for our team. We were able to connect with like-minded individuals, gain new insights into the industry, and showcase our Coriolis Book Publicity and Marketing App to a wider audience. We left feeling inspired and energized, and we can’t wait to attend next year’s conference in Kansas City to continue our engagement with this incredible community!
