We are proud to say that unlike most literary publicity and book marketing companies, we actively contribute to making the publishing industry more diverse, inclusive, and equitable, as the majority of our clients are academics of color, LGBTQ+ writers, and wordsmiths with unique perspectives about the world. Not only that, but we also work hard to create relationships with media and influencers of color, as well as purpose-driven outlets whose work we admire and who we believe, just like our clients, should be more supported in their work. And since our team comes from a mix of backgrounds, we’re often complimented on the unique perspectives we bring to all of our outreach efforts, which serves as another point of pride for us. No cookie-cutter campaigns here!
Working at Coriolis, you will be part of a team that’s focused on connecting incredible authors with the media, their audience, and influencers. It’s not easy to turn the tides of an industry that hasn’t exactly been known for progress, but the people who tend to thrive on our team are driven by this mission and enjoy getting results for our clients week after week. It helps that we work from home, and have great, collaborative team dynamics where we help each other out as needed.
The publishing industry is among the least diverse industries in the U.S. As a woman-owned, minority-owned, immigrant-owned business, we are doing our part to change that. At Coriolis, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and interns regardless of race, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, veteran status, marital and family status, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law. We actively seek to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool. So regardless of your background, you can rest assured that we would love to welcome you to our team.
